In honour of World Population Day, we rallied for change under the banner: “Unleashing the power of gender equality: Uplifting the voices of women and girls to unlock our world’s infinite possibilities.” Our focus was on the S.Yanam Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) community.
At S.Yanam PHC, we conducted an insightful awareness program stressing the vital role of gender equality and women’s empowerment in societal advancement. We emphasised that these principles are fundamental to progress.
Following these enlightening discussions, we organised a spirited rally in S.Yanam village, with banners and voices united in support of our cause. The event saw enthusiastic participation from PHC staff, high school students, PHC Doctors, Teachers, Village elders, Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife(ANMs), ASHA Workers, and Anganwadi workers.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their unwavering support and passion during this program. Together, we are unlocking boundless possibilities by empowering and amplifying the voices of women and girls. World Population Day reminded us that gender equality isn’t just a goal; it’s the key to a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
