On the occasion of World Environment Day, under the theme ‘Land Restoration, Halting Desertification, and Building Drought Resilience,’ Cairn CSR team launched a Soil Health Testing Van in partnership with Agricultural University of Jodhpur. The testing van, launched in the Bhadka region in Rajasthan, aimed to support farmers with soil and water testing. The van has covered 30 villages around Barmer and Jodhpur in a span of 15 days, providing crucial information of soil management and benefitting the backbone of Indian Economy. The celebrations also included the inauguration of a bio-gas plant and the ‘Plastic Free House’ initiative, distributing cloth bags to 40 farmers and their families. Our commitment towards building a sustainable nation goes beyond the traditional bounds of practising ESG and aims to empower the communities to help forge a better tomorrow.
