Early education lays the foundation for lifelong learning, shaping not just young minds but the future of entire communities. When paired with lessons in sustainability, it nurtures responsible, aware citizens from the very start. As part of the state-wide Mukhyamantri Vriksharopan Maha Abhiyan (Chief Minister’s Tree Plantation Mega Campaign) and the Hariyalo Rajasthan initiative, Nand Ghar proudly stepping into a dual role centres of early education and champions of sustainability. The Chandaniyo ki Dhani Nand Ghar recently hosted a vibrant plantation drive that not only added to the green footprint of the village but also created a more enriching and eco-conscious learning space for children. This initiative, rooted in the belief that education and environment go hand in hand, symbolised a deeper commitment to holistic child development.
The event was graced by Ms. Kusum Chaudhary, CDPO, who actively participated in the tree plantation and spent time interacting with the children and Anganwadi workers. Her presence was supported by Ms. Gunjan Dhariwal, Associate Manager- PSCM and Ms. Anjali Agarwal, Engineer- Planning, both of whom contributed enthusiastically to the initiative. The occasion wasn’t just about planting saplings, it was about planting hope, resilience and a love for nature in young minds.
Further amplifying the impact, toys, learning kits, tables and chairs were distributed to the centre, transforming it into a more child-friendly and engaging environment. This initiative reflects Nand Ghar’s evolving vision where modern education meets sustainability, and where every child is given the tools and the atmosphere to thrive. The plantation drive at Chandaniyo ki Dhani stood as a powerful testament to how grassroots collaboration can truly cultivate a greener, brighter future.
