As part of the Swachh Barmer, Swasthya Barmer – Support to District Hospital initiative, a special felicitation ceremony was held on May 5, 2025 at District Hospital Barmer to mark Labour Day. The event served as a heartfelt tribute to the vital contribution of housekeeping staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital premises.
A total of 62 housekeeping personnel were honoured by the Principal Medical Officer for their unwavering dedication and hard work. Their consistent efforts not only uphold the hospital’s standards of sanitation but also directly contribute to the overall health and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors
alike.
This initiative reflects Cairn’s broader commitment to health, dignity and community support, recognising that true progress begins by valuing every role, especially those often overlooked. By celebrating these everyday champions, the event reinforced the importance of dignity of labour and the collective effort needed to build a cleaner, healthier Barmer.
