In 2021 Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) was 10% higher in 2021 (0.70 in 2020 and 0.77 in 2021). This has increased focus on the need to enhance site safety monitoring by adoption of new technologies. AI based safety surveillance tool is an end-to-end automated platform built to automate critical safe practices, measure real time compliance, immediate corrective actions, provide strategic inputs for development of safety management plans and proactively act to stop any accidents and unforeseen events round the clock. Due to our vast operational spread, it is very difficult to be present everywhere, and these AI cameras work like human vision. This tool analyses image and video footage with AI-driven algorithms to identify violations. A total of 104 such AI systems have been installed across operational sites.
