At Raageshwari Gas Terminal (RGT), during gas processing, associated water and condensate are also produced. On an average, ~3000 BPD of produced water is treated in the PW treatment plant daily. This treated water is then mixed with RO reject and disposed of in disposal wells at WP-7.

Simultaneously, there is a requirement of ~10 BOE/D (Barrels of oil equivalent per day) of water for injection at the Raag oil field. Until now, the requirement was managed with groundwater availability.

To minimise freshwater utilisation, a pipeline from RDG to Raag oil -1 has been laid out, and the pump was commissioned on October 10, 2023. This pipeline has enabled water injection at Raag oil which will not only increase oil production in line with business plan but also help in improving water positivity by ~3000 BPD as part of our ESG initiative.
