In line with this commitment, we are pleased to announce the successful go-live of the ‘Continuous Monitoring with Battery-Operated IIoT’ initiative across RJ North, Mangala Processing Terminal and associated wellpads.
Rotating process equipment form the backbone of safe, efficient and sustained plant operations. Their uninterrupted performance is critical to unlocking asset value, enhancing operational reliability and maintaining production continuity. This initiative introduces a comprehensive reliability solution tailored for surface equipment, leveraging remote health monitoring via battery-powered sensors integrated with a cloud-based IIoT infrastructure under an OPEX model.
Key operational parameters – such as vibration, acoustic signatures, temperature, humidity and rotational speed – are now being continuously collected and integrated in real time with a central cloud server. This enables early anomaly detection, minimising risks and unplanned downtime. The data is further visualised through an interactive dashboard that offers complete visibility into equipment health, historical performance and trend analytics.
The platform also supports advanced condition-based maintenance using sophisticated analytical models, including RMS, peak value, kurtosis, spectrum, waterfall and waveform analyses. Fault tracking, corrective action management, and closure monitoring are embedded directly within the solution, promoting a more streamlined and responsive maintenance approach. Furthermore, automatic alerts via email and mobile notifications ensure timely awareness and decision-making for field teams.
