In an inspiring step towards empowering the women of Barmer, the Self-Help Group “Jiji Bai Shyam Sahatya Samuh” will proceed with production of Millet products as a part of our Barmer Unnati Project. A formal inaugural meeting at CEC Barmer brought together 13 SHG members, where they were briefed about their roles, organizational progress, and future plans. The highlight was the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOM) by the group, outlining their future priorities with clear timelines. To further enhance their capabilities, a comprehensive 2-day training program covering production, marketing, management, documentation, and finance is planned. This initiative aims to uplift these women by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in millet production.
