Skill development remains at the heart of our commitment to creating sustainable livelihoods and fostering self-reliance. From hands-on training in masonry to empowering women through beauty and wellness education, our recent initiatives have made a tangible impact on individuals and communities alike.
The Masonry Batch pass-out ceremony was a moment of pride, graced by Chief Guest Ashok Kharbe, CHRO – Nickel Business and Arivuchselvan R, Associate Manager – Site HR. Demonstrating their newly acquired skills, the trainees contributed to repairing the CEC building, applying their learning for the center’s benefit. During their visit, the guests engaged with students, offering valuable insights and words of encouragement, reinforcing the importance of practical learning and community contribution.
In Kawas, the Beautician Batch graduation was a celebration of empowerment, resilience, and new beginnings. Thirty skilled women stepped into brighter futures, with the event also marking the inauguration of a beauty parlour owned by trainee Ms Kanchan Ji—a testament to the power of self-employment. A pioneering addition to this initiative was the introduction of a crèche facility, ensuring women could upskill without childcare concerns.
Further amplifying our impact, the Kaushal Vikas Yatra was flagged off from CEC by Brig. B.S. Shekhawat, Director of Cairn Asset. Covering 88 villages across five blocks from February 5 -7, this initiative is mobilising students towards skill enhancement and career advancement. By bringing education and employment opportunities to rural youth, we continue to drive meaningful change and empower the next generation.
Our ongoing commitment to skill development is shaping a future where individuals are equipped with the knowledge and opportunities to thrive, strengthening communities and paving the way for a more sustainable tomorrow.
