Cairn had the privilege of hosting Deshnee Naidoo, CEO of Vedanta Resources, during her visit to RJ North from January 22-24, 2025. Her engagement with our Executive Leadership Team (ELT), site teams, and community members underscored our commitment to operational excellence and social responsibility.
During her visit, Deshnee toured the processing facilities at the Mangala Processing Terminal and other key operational sites. She also received a comprehensive overview of our operations and participated in discussions on our future direction in a strategic session with the ELT and leadership team.
At the Cairn Enterprise Centre, she met with community members and beneficiaries of the company’s social initiatives, gaining first-hand insights into how these programmes have positively impacted lives. She expressed a keen interest in understanding their journeys and the transformative role played by Cairn’s community programmes.
Ms. Naidoo also took part in the Pran Pratistha ceremony at the township temple, immersing herself in the spirit of the new township in Barmer. Her visit reinforced the values of collaboration, innovation, and community empowerment, further strengthening our vision of ‘Transforming for Good’.
