On World NGO Day, observed on February 27, 2025, we took a moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) that are working to drive positive societal change. These organisations play a vital role in promoting education, healthcare, environmental conservation, women empowerment, and livelihood enhancement—building stronger, more resilient communities across the globe.
At Cairn, we are proud to partner with several grassroots NGOs whose unwavering commitment and on-ground expertise have helped us amplify our community development initiatives. Together, we are working towards creating a lasting and meaningful impact on the lives of people in the regions where we operate.

One of our key collaborations is with the Society to Uplift Rural Economy (SURE), which has been instrumental in advancing dairy development and animal husbandry programs since its inception in 1990. This partnership has supported over 44,000 beneficiaries in the past year alone. Through the establishment of 18 self-sustaining milk cooperatives, the initiative has generated ₹202.63 crore in revenue since 2007, directly contributing to the rural economy.

Our collaboration with the Socio-Economic and Educational Development Society (SEEDS) focuses on skill development and livelihood generation. Operating through more than 500 training centers, SEEDS has positively impacted over one million lives. The Cairn Enterprise Center (CEC), part of this partnership, has successfully trained over 18,000 youth in more than 40 job roles, maintaining an impressive 80% placement rate and empowering young individuals with sustainable career opportunities.

Dhara Sansthan, has been dedicated to improving health and livelihoods since 1989. Through this collaboration, over one lakh beneficiaries are reached annually across Rajasthan and Gujarat. A network of seven Mobile Health Vans ensures healthcare access at the doorstep, serving 214 remote villages and addressing the critical need for primary healthcare services in underserved areas.

We also work closely with the Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation (BAIF) Development Research Foundation on the Barmer Unnati Project, which spans 145 villages. This partnership has supported over 7,000 farmers this year by introducing sustainable agricultural practices, including rainwater harvesting, pastureland development, and the installation of biogas plants.

Our partnership with the Centre for Education, Developmental Research and Action (CEDRA) focuses on micro-level interventions that have benefited more than two lakh individuals across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Assam. The initiatives include setting up community-based RO plants to provide safe drinking water, organising regular health check-up camps, and implementing skill development programs tailored to community needs.
On this World NGO Day, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our NGO partners for their unwavering dedication and impactful work. Together, we can continue to make a difference, fostering inclusive and sustainable growth in the communities we serve.
