Recently, Sehra was honoured with the prestigious “Leader of the Year Award” for her exceptional work spanning across Cairn’s operational domains through numerous CSR endeavours. Her passion for instigating profound change and ensuring the seamless continuity of business has not only touched countless lives but has also elevated our corporate image as a responsible entity dedicated to “transforming communities.”

Under her visionary leadership, Cairn Oil & Gas, Vedanta Ltd., has also won the best impact projects under the categories of Water & Healthcare.

The details of the projects won are –

  • “Jeevan Amrit Project” – This initiative strives to provide safe drinking water, impacting over 1.5 lakh people annually, while also fostering local job opportunities to manage community RO units. Our achievement lies in creating a successful model where the community takes ownership and accountability for these RO units’ operations. With great pride, the project has now been seamlessly transitioned to the Public Health and Engineering Department.
  • “Nirogi Rajasthan” – This project’s mission is to create widespread awareness about healthcare and overall well-being, with a special focus on mental health. We were duly honoured for our creative approach to addressing mental health issues by collaborating with district administration and like-minded organisations. This initiative touched the lives of more than 1 lakh people, spanning across 500+ villages.
