On September 5, 2023, Baramukhia High School in Borpathar radiated with gratitude as teachers were
celebrated on Teachers’ Day. Dwipen Hazarika, the school’s Head Teacher, presided over the event,
welcoming guests and setting the stage for a day filled with appreciation.
The Hon’ble President of the School Management and Development Committee, Hemant Kumar Mahanta, delivered an eloquent presidential address, commending teachers for their dedication and societal contributions.
In attendance were School Management Committee(SMC) members, VDC President and Secretary, ward
members, school management committee representatives, and dignitaries from Vedanta
Ltd., Cairn Oil & Gas including Ajoy Bezbaruah, Lead North East CSR, and Onyam Priyo Singh, Senior Manager Security & Administration, along with Navarchana Trust members.
As tokens of appreciation, we presented each teacher with a Gamosa and a book. Additionally, three
exceptional educators received certificates of recognition for their outstanding performance during the
previous academic year.
This heartfelt celebration underscored the invaluable role of teachers and highlighted the strength of
community support in nurturing the future through education.
