The Cairn Enterprise Center (CEC) Electrician batch recently embarked on a unique learning journey that seamlessly integrated hands-on training with community welfare. As part of their curriculum, the students visited Nagana and Kawas villages, where they actively addressed basic electrical faults in households. This practical experience involved rewiring three rooms and repairing essential appliances such as coolers and electric presses, ensuring safer and more efficient electrical systems for the villagers. Guided by experienced trainers and the placement coordinator, the students gained invaluable real-world skills while contributing meaningfully to the community. The overwhelming appreciation received from the villagers served as a testament to the students’ dedication and the positive impact of their efforts.
This impactful learning experience culminated in a successful campus placement drive organized by Cairn Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Coinciding with the Electrician batch’s pass-out ceremony at CEC, the placement drive saw the participation of key stakeholders, including Tata Motors and the ITI Principal. The event served as a platform to showcase the skills and dedication of the graduating students. As a result of this collaborative effort, 18 students were successfully placed as Assistant Electricians at Tata Motors, marking a significant milestone in their career paths.
This initiative exemplifies CEC’s commitment to providing holistic training that goes beyond theoretical knowledge. By fostering a strong connection between practical skills development, community engagement, and successful employment opportunities, CEC empowers its students to become valuable assets to the workforce while contributing positively to their communities.
