November is celebrated internationally as World Quality Month. At Cairn Oil & Gas, quality serves as the guiding star propelling us towards excellence. All our units celebrated the month grandly and with great fervour.
The team organised various training sessions, information bulletins, competitions, and quizzes to instil the ideology of quality in all employees and business partners.
Throughout all locations, a total of 70 training sessions were conducted, covering topics such as welding, masonry, and quality inspections, engaging over 1000 business partners and direct employees. Over 600 employees were involved in the various quality competitions held throughout the month.
To further embed the idea of quality, over 100 quality TBTs were conducted, focusing on reducing quality failures and reducing project time. As part of the idea generation drive, more than 100 quality improvement ideas were submitted across locations.
Additionally, over 25 quality GEMBA walks were conducted across the units to enhance quality surveillance through senior leadership, bringing an experienced perspective to identify possible future quality failures.
The month was marked by enthusiastic involvement by all business partners and employees, culminating in the final award ceremonies across the units.
