Rajasthan, with its timeless traditions and artistic heritage, continues to captivate the world with its vibrant cultural expressions. Cairn, deeply rooted in the region, remains committed to celebrating and preserving this rich legacy.
Under the clear winter skies of Rajasthan, Cairn proudly participated in the Vedanta-presented Jaigarh Heritage Festival in Jaipur, celebrating the vibrant art and culture of the Thar region.
With a strong commitment to fostering deep connections within local communities, Cairn has long been integral to Rajasthan’s cultural and social fabric. Our inspiring Self-Help Group (SHG) women are at the heart of this engagement and proudly present their diverse range of traditional offerings to visitors and tourists. These included delectable millet cookies, pure ghee, and artisanal pickles from the Jiji Bai and Brahmini Mata SHGs, alongside an exclusive selection of handcrafted appliqué textiles and other artistic creations by Ruma Devi’s collective from Barmer.
Adding to the cultural splendor of the event, our esteemed folk artists, including the renowned Bhutte Khan and the Bhopa-Bhopi performers captivated audiences with their mesmerising performances. Their artistry and dedication beautifully encapsulated the essence of Rajasthan’s rich heritage.
The Jaigarh Heritage Festival was a true testament to the spirit of #ArtInEveryHeart, bringing together tradition, craftsmanship, and artistic expression to celebrate Rajasthan’s enduring cultural legacy.
