The Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, virtually inaugurated the event, setting the tone for a transformative week. Insights from the Honourable Minister of Petroleum, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, followed this. The Cairn Arena was inaugurated by Mr Rahul Sharma, CEO of Strategy, Vedanta, alongside the Cairn leadership team. The booth emerged as a focal point of the event, drawing significant footfall and engagement from visitors and industry stakeholders.
Our Leadership at the Forefront
At the Strategic Conference, Cairn was represented by Hitesh Vaid and Rakesh Agiwal, followed by a technical session chaired by Biswanath Ghosh. Hitesh participated in a panel discussion on Bridging the Investment Gaps in Energy Transitions, while Rakesh contributed to discussions on Delivering the New Exploration and Production Imperatives for Developing Economies. Biswanath led a technical conference on the Monetisation of Oil and Gas Fields. Vinayak participated in a panel exploring Solving the Water-Energy Transition Nexus – Lowering the World’s Carbon Without Lowering Its Water Supply.

Additionally, the S&P Roundtable on AI Summit featured Hitesh Vaid and Sandeep Gupta, who shared valuable insights on the role of artificial intelligence in the energy sector.
As a Platinum Sponsor, our presence was unmistakable throughout the IEW venue. From mobile charging stations featuring Cairn branding at 25 locations to digital and physical brand placements, our vision of an energy-self-reliant India was strongly reflected. She met with the Jijis from Barmer, who proudly shared their millet cookie initiative, a true testament to Aatmanirbharta showcased on a national platform.

We fostered meaningful discussions with key industry leaders and business partners. Meetings with Baker Hughes, S&P Global, Weatherford, and Chevron laid the groundwork for future collaborations. At the same time, discussions with Technip Energies, ADNOC, Gulf Energy, Ecubix, and Baker Hughes strengthened strategic partnerships to drive innovation and growth. Productive engagements with Solar Turbines, Estonian Enefit Co, SLB, Halliburton, and Axion further expanded the potential for collaborative advancements in the energy sector.

Engaging IEW Visitors
The Cairn Arena engaged visitors through interactive displays and activities, including artwork showcases, robotic arm demonstrations, a sustainability quiz, and the ever-popular Jijis and their signature millet cookies. Dr Pallavi Jain Govil interacted with the Jijis during her visit and appreciated their initiative as a significant contribution to Aatmanirbharta on a national scale.
