In a continuation of the zest of exploration beyond oil and gas, Veda – The Cairn Library organised an Author Talk Session on the book titled ‘Rise of the Night Lore’ by Mihika Mukherjee,a dynamic young data science enthusiast on August 24, 2023.
The author shared her experiences in writing the book, the challenges she faced, and provided a glimpse into the book’s background and her motivation. This was her very first book, written two years ago when she was in a period of self-introspecting and decided to embark on the journey of a young author. The book belongs to the fantasy genre and is wholeheartedly inspired by the immensely popular Harry Potter series. The story weaves together themes of love, hate, loyalty, deceit and various other human emotions.
The session was highly interactive and engaging, warmly welcomed by all the participants. At the end of the session, a memento was presented to the speaker by Arpita Mandal, Head of Exploration, SBU RJ Oil.
