As we reflect on 2021, one statistic stands out, 10% increase in the Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) compared to the previous years, reaching 0.70 in 2020 and 0.77 in 2021. This shift has sharpened our focus on the need to enhance site safety monitoring and the urgency to embrace cutting-edge technology.
Our Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Safety Surveillance Tool is an end-to-end automated platform built to automate critical safe practices, measure real time compliance, immediate corrective actions, provide strategic inputs for development of safety management plans and proactively act to stop any accidents and unforeseen events round the clock.
Given our expansive operational spread, it’s impossible to be everywhere at once and these AI cameras work like human vision.
This tool uses smart algorithms to spot safety violations in images and videos. We have already deployed 104 of these systems across our operational sites, making safety a top priority in our operations.
