As part of Cairn’s continued efforts to uplift rural communities through knowledge and self-reliance, a focused agricultural training session was recently conducted in Assam under the Micro-Level Intervention (MLI) programme. Designed to equip farmers with practical tools and insights, the session brought together over 30 local participants eager to grow beyond traditional practices.

The hands-on programme went beyond just farming, it was about cultivating resilience and community-led progress. The sessions covered everything from animal husbandry and soil health to sustainable crop management and advanced rice farming techniques. Participants were also introduced to organic fertilisation methods and Agro Tourism as innovative income streams, broadening their horizon for rural
entrepreneurship.

This initiative was more than just a learning experience; it was a shared journey of growth. By exchanging practical insights and best practices, the programme helped nurture a more empowered and connected farming community, deeply rooted in sustainability and long-term prosperity.
