Rooted in our purpose, Cairn embraces safety not just as a standard but as a way of life. During National Fire Service Week, from April 14 to April 20, 2025, our teams came together with purpose and pride to honor the brave firefighters who dedicate their lives to protecting others. This year’s theme, “Unite to Ignite, A Fire Safe India”, inspired a week-long observance filled with heartfelt tributes, powerful demonstrations and practical learning, fostering a renewed sense of accountability across our workforce and communities.
On Fire Service Day, April 14, 2025, we paid homage to the martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The event began with a solemn remembrance followed by an address from the chief guest, who emphasised the importance of awareness and preparedness. The day set a reflective tone for the week, reminding us all of the human spirit behind every safety measure.
To strengthen our emergency response capabilities, 725 personnel, including employees, GETs sand security teams, underwent rigorous Fire Safety and Emergency Response training. In parallel, over 1,500 students and community members participated in awareness programs held across schools and community centres, gaining critical knowledge in fire prevention and evacuation. Mock drills and live equipment demonstrations brought these learnings to life, enhancing our collective readiness to face real life fire scenarios.

The spirit of service extended beyond safety training. A blood donation camp conducted in collaboration with a government hospital and Rotary Blood Centre collected 144 units of life-saving blood. Meanwhile, employee engagement soared with creative poster competitions, safety quizzes and fire hose drills, receiving 632 enthusiastic entries. Through every activity, Cairn reaffirmed its commitment to safety, service and fostering a workplace where care, vigilance and community resilience thrive.
