Every year, thousands of lives are lost due to road accidents, many of which could be prevented with better awareness and precautionary measures. Recognising the urgency of road safety, Cairn, in collaboration with the police and traffic authorities, organised a dedicated Road Safety Day on January 17, 2025 as part of National Road Safety Month. This initiative aimed to create safer roads for all—motorists, pedestrians, and even animals—by combining awareness with actionable steps.
We distributed helmets to bike riders to address key safety concerns, reinforcing the importance of protective gear for two-wheeler users. Reflector tapes were provided for vehicles to enhance visibility, reducing the risk of accidents, particularly in low-light conditions. In an inclusive and thoughtful effort, reflective belts were also offered for animals, preventing road mishaps involving stray and domestic creatures. Through this initiative, over 100 lives were positively impacted.
We reaffirmed our commitment to road safety and community well-being by taking a proactive approach. With each step, we continue to drive meaningful change, fostering a culture of responsibility and care on the roads.
