In the heart of Southern Rajasthan, Nokhra witnessed a transformation, not just in the skills of its young women but also in their aspirations. A beacon of hope, the Beautician Assistance course ignited a spark, empowering these women to chase their dreams.
On a day dedicated to celebrating youth skills, 30 young women from Nokhra village embarked on a journey to self-sufficiency. The two-month Beautician Assistance course, hosted by the Cairn Enterprise Center (CEC), was more than just a training program; it was a catalyst for change.
Armed with a desire to learn and a passion for beauty, these women immersed themselves in hands-on training. They honed their skills, from basic skincare to intricate makeup techniques. To broaden their horizons, they ventured beyond their village, visiting the CEC and Makeover Salon. There, they witnessed firsthand the artistry and professionalism of the beauty industry.
The recent closing ceremony was a testament to their hard work and dedication. Local leaders and Cairn employees joined in the celebration, recognizing the potential of these women for not only themselves but also their communities.
This initiative is more than just a skill development program. It’s a beacon of hope, empowering women to become financially independent and contribute to their families’ well-being. As they step into the world, these young women carry with them not just new skills but also newfound confidence.
