With data scattered across over 10 different systems, finding the information needed for digital solutions from over 10 disparate data sources was a time-consuming nightmare. Enter Cognite Data Fusion (CDF), our game-changer—a data ops platform that acts like a one-stop supermarket for all our data needs.
CDF seamlessly integrates these isolated data sources into a single platform, making project delivery a breeze and ensuring everyone has access to the connected data they need. Since August 2023, we’ve successfully integrated specific data types to monitor and optimize production operations.
Here’s the best part: we’ve created a comprehensive “Asset Hierarchy” within CDF, a revolution for data accessibility at Cairn. This hierarchy is like a detailed map, encompassing:
- – 13,000 elements, including block names, fields, well pads, equipment, individual wells, and even sound monitoring tools (e.g., ALS type).
- – Over 500 meticulously contextualized wells, meaning all their data is tagged to the specific asset for ultimate relevance.
- – Currently, this applies to RJ North assets, with expansion on the horizon!
With CDF, Cairn has transformed data management from a frantic scramble to a smooth, efficient operation. Now, our teams can focus on what they do best – using insights to unlock even greater possibilities.
