At Cairn, we are committed to the communities we serve. With the beginning of our exploration and drilling operations in the regions of the Northeast, we brought the culture and heritage of the state of Assam straight to our corporate office in Gurugram. The event immersed employees in the rich culture and heritage of Assam, showcasing our dedication to the region and its people. The event was hosted in partnership with Cairn CSR team and our NGO partner from Assam with the aim to foster sustainable progress and community development.
The event featured:
Heirloom Products: Handmade by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) near our Hazarigaon field. The products at the experience center ranged from traditional Gamosas and pure mulberry silk sarees to authentic homemade pickles and native Assamese jewellery.
Organic Tea: The first batch of organic tea grown near Hazarigaon field was also available for employees.
Cultural Festival: A vibrant showcase of Bihu culture.
Assamese Cuisine: Traditional Assamese dishes were served to bin the experience together.
This celebration highlighted Cairn’s commitment to enriching lives and supporting sustainable development in the communities we touch.
