As a part of our continuous efforts of ‘Transforming the Planet’, Cairn teams installed two compressors to address the imperative of mitigating flare gas emissions during operational downtime or maintenance. This strategic addition is projected to yield significant environmental benefits, with an anticipated annual gas reduction of 15 Lakh standard cubic meters (SCM). This results in a significant reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, estimated at around 3,500 metric tons of CO2 equivalent per year. The installation process was successfully concluded and commissioned in March 2024.
