Amidst the bustling energy of the Shri Mallinath Animal Welfare Fair in the town of Balotra near Barmer, many hearts brimmed with hope and compassion. It wasn’t just the stalls and exhibitions that shimmered in the fair, but the spirit of camaraderie and dedication that lit up the air.
The inauguration and week-long Animal Welfare Fair featured a notable presentation by our NGO partner, SURE. SURE is a Barmer-based NGO focused on strengthening lives of rural communities and helping with providing food, shelter and water security to the people of Barmer.
The exhibition highlighted our dairy development project, Maru Sagar, detailing its activities and innovative initiatives conducted in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry.
In the midst of it all, the laughter and applause, walked our esteemed guests — Sushil Kumar Yadav, District Collector of Balotra, and a retinue of esteemed guests and government authorities. Their presence wasn’t just ceremonial; it was a validation, a nod of recognition to the unwavering commitment of our CSR team and our NGO partners in the pursuit of a brighter tomorrow.
This engagement underscored the significant impact and recognition of our efforts in advancing animal welfare and agricultural practices in the region, reinforcing our commitment to community and sustainable development and transforming the regions we operate in. The fair served as a platform to showcase the progress of our projects and led to fostering partnerships with local government bodies.
