The World Water Day Awareness program and Essay Competition at Kennedy Village Primary School brought together students, government officials, and representatives from Cairn to foster dialogue and awareness around water conservation. With speakers from the government water department emphasising the significance of the day, the event served as a catalyst for action and collaboration.

Similarly, the commemoration at the government upper primary school in Bhadruna village, Barmer, provided a platform for stakeholders to come together and discuss the critical issues facing our water resources. Amidst the presence of the School Management Committee, PHED Department, Health Department, Education Department, and Social workers, the importance of collective efforts in water governance was highlighted.

As we reflect on these events, it’s clear that our work is far from over. While the celebrations may have ended, our commitment to water stewardship remains steadfast. Cairn’s ongoing initiatives, such as community rainwater harvesting projects and the Jeevan Amrit Project, continue to make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals and communities in Barmer District. Moving forward, let us build upon the momentum generated by World Water Day and redouble our efforts to conserve and protect our water resources. Together, we can ensure a sustainable future where clean water is accessible to all.
