In a groundbreaking move, Cairn’s CSR Initiative showcased the impactful work of our Self-Help Group (SHG) in Gujarat and Rajasthan, focusing on sustainable women’s livelihood. As a part of the Bib Expo at Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon 2023, the Cairn Stall received overwhelmingly positive response, with sales from our including 30 kgs of khakhra, 20 kgs of millet cookies, laddu, Namkeen, organic cumin, 10 kgs of pickle, and ghee.
Vedanta’s commitment to providing a meal for every kilometre run during the 8th edition of the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon resulted in over 1 lakh meals. When combined with the 50 lakh meals from the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, this initiative will benefit 6,000 Nand Ghars. The event, flagged off by Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Ji, featured an impressive 12,000 runners and culminated with Head CSR Harmeet Shera honouring the winners—a true celebration of promotion, commitment, and community welfare.
