On December 14, 2023, Veda library, IT & Innovation organised an event, “Build Your Knowledge Treasure: Pick-Up Drive for Magazines and Journals” aimed at reusing information assets in the form of magazines & journals. Back issues were made available for all the patrons visiting the Veda Library.
This initiative fosters literacy and access to information. Users grabbed their magazine whether focusing on lifestyles, hobbies, travel, fashion, technology, or any other subject.
For many, it meant more than just reading material; it signified access to information-a source of joy. We received an overwhelming response from employees as they picked up magazines and journals of their interest, enthusiastically building their knowledge treasure.
The event received appreciation from users, and suggestions were made to have many more initiatives like this in the future.
